The twentieth meeting of the Joint Working Group of the RISC_ML project is held

On Wednesday, 18th November, the Entities that make up the RISC_ML project partnership, led by the Miño-Sil Hydrographic Confederation, met again by videoconference on the occasion of the 20th meeting of the Joint Working Group.

At this meeting, the degree of execution has been reviewed both at a technical and financial level, once a new extension has been granted until December 31st, 2021, which will allow the remaining actions of the project to be executed with total guarantee.

Special mention was made of the high level of execution of some of the activities with the greatest impact of the project, such as the 7 stations (5 SAICA stations and 2 stations of the SAIH Network) already completed and the imminent start of expansion of the SAIH Network on the Saá River in A Pobra do Brollón , or the study to evaluate the impact of climate change on water resources in the international area, of which a first version has already been received from CEDEX.

The meeting has also served to advance in a series of actions that require close collaboration among the project beneficiaries (such as the Joint Drought Plan or the Communications Protocol) in order to have their final versions in the coming months of implementation.

The beneficiaries of the project have been cited again for Wednesday, December 16, which will be the 21st meeting of the Joint Working Group.
