POCTEP

The RISC_ML project is co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) through the Interreg V-A Spain-Portugal (POCTEP) 2014-2020 programme.

 “Interreg VA Spain-Portugal cooperation programme promotes development along Europe’s longest border”

The space is organized in 6 areas of cooperation, the project Risc_ML is framed in the zone Galicia-North of Portugal.

POCTEP 2014-2020 is active in five main areas or thematic objectives: 

  • To promote research, technological development and innovation
  • Improve the competitiveness of small and medium-sized enterprises.
  • Promote la climate change adaptation in all sectors.
  • Protect the environment and promote resource efficiency.
  • Mejora de la capacidad institucional y la eficiencia de la administración pública.

Among the actions it promotes are:

  • Actions in favour ofresearch, technological development and innovation.
  • Actions related to business development and the promotion of quality employment.
  • Actions in the field of environment and energy and ecological infrastructures.
